June 2-3, 2007 Ontario Provincial Championships (Ottawa, Ontario)

Four qualifying gymnasts from London wrapped up this competitive season with 6 medals: 3 gold, 2 ilver and 1 bronze. Sarah Molnar showed outstanding results by winning the competition in her category and bringing a Provincial Champion Trophy, 4 medals and a title to London for the first time in the history of rhythmic gymnastict in our city. Anna, Yeritza and Nicole added more medals and received 10 ribbons for 4-5 places.Congratulation to our excellent gymnasts!

May 11-12, 2007 Olympium Spring Blossom Invitational (Etobicoke, Ontario)

Three Interclub gymnasts, Angie, Karolina and Aurora, showed one routine each at Olympium sports center. They finished 2nd, 2nd and 4th, bringing to London 2 silver medals and an award for the 4th place.

May 5-6, 2007 Provincial Qualifier #2 (Woodbridge, Ontario)

According to the total score for two qualifiers, all four London RGC provincial competitors qualified to Provincial Championship. This time they collected 5 medals (2 gold and 3 silver, with Sarah placed first all around) and 11 ribbons for 4, 5 and 7th places.

April 20-22, 2007 Eastern Canada Regional Championships (Montreal, Quebec)

London RGC sent Sarah Molnar to compete at Regionals. This tournament serves as a qualifier to Canadian National Champinships, and invites senior provincial categories to explore their potential. Sarah, a senior provincial competitor this season, finished first in every apparatus in her category, received 4 gold medals and a trophy for highest all-around score. For the second consecutive year Sarah wins the title of Eastern Canada Champion that is a third time for London RGC team. Beside showing excellent results, Sarah and her coach Inna Paliy received very positive feedback from top Canadian judges and professional rhythmic gymnastics community. Congratulations!

March 31- April 1, 2007 Provincial Qualifier #1 (King City, Ontario)

The first Provincial Qualifier 2007 gathered a great number of competitors from all around the province. The hard work of 4 London's gymnasts Anna, Sarah, Yeritza and Nicole resulted in 6 medals (2 gold, 2 silver, 2 bronze) and 10 ribbons for 4 - 6 places.

March 10 -11, 2007 Kalev Cup Invitational (Woodbridge, Ontario)

London RG Club sent 4 provincial competitors to this tournament, and all four showed excellent work on the floor winning a podium for each routine. In their age categories, Sarah and Nicole acquired all-around gold, while Anna and Yeritza brought home all-around silver. In total 16 medals, 7 gold, 7 silver and two bronze, continued our medal count for 2007. Thank you girls for great results!

February 23-24, 2007 "Reach for the Stars" Invitational (Scarborough, Ontario)

This week-end our competitive team of 8 showed truly outstanding results. London RGC Provincial and Interclub competitors earned 17 medals in apparatus and all-around events: 7 gold, 5 silver and 5 bronze. Three routines received the ribbons for 4, 5 and 6 places. This makes "Reach for the Stars" tournament our most successful competition to date. Way to go, girls!

February 11, 2007 Toronto Aspirals Valentine Classic Invitational (Aurora, Ontario)

London was represented by 8 competitors: four competed at Interclub and four in Provincial senior levels. Every presented routine won 1st to 4th places, that added 10 medals to London RGC collection: 3 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze. Anna also received a trophy "The most creative gymnast of the tournament". Great start of the season!
