Sixty nine visitors came to watch London RGC gala performance - 20 recreational and competitive routines prepared by our gymnasts for upcoming competitive season as well as especially for this event. The show was presented to demonstrate the graduate progress of a gymnast from the moment when she makes first steps in recreational group up to the time when she becomes advanced competitive athlete. Home made pastry and cozy drinks were served after spectacular performance. Long conversations, non-stop fun on the carpet, sweets, goody bags and very successful fundraiser (sale of London RGC 2007 calendars and logo pendants) continued the evening.

London RGC head coach Inna Paliy held the parent/athlete information meeting to introduce in great details the sports of rhythmic gymnastics to parents and athletes. All competitive athletes and their parents attended this 2 hours educational activity along with interested recreational participants. The audience of 32 learned about history of rhythmic gymnastics, Code of Points, rules, coaching approaches and judging techniques. Video tapes of recent World and European Championships as well as "live" demonstrations by our athletes helped participating parents to take a closer look at challenging and graceful sports their daughter has chosen to master.
